The Keeshond is a medium-sized breed of dog recognizable by its plush silver coat of fur and its up-curled tail. The breed was first developed in the Netherlands where it was once known as the Dutch Barge Dog. The breed was further developed in England and was first registered with the American Kennel Club in 1930.
